The challenge:
You will be working as an Air Freight Forwarder at a versatile service provider. You ensure that the goods are transported from destination A to destination B. You choose the right airline, carriers, warehouses, but also arrange the price requests, storage of goods and bookings for the shipments. In other words, you are responsible from A-Z for the delivery of the shipments. Further duties within this position will be:
- Arranging and supervising operational activities
- Purchasing transport services
- Maintaining daily contacts with customers and service providers
- Processing customer files and invoices
- Actively focused on improving the procurement process
